It's Short Today. Sorry.

Kindness to yourself is a huge factor in any person’s overall happiness in life. It is going to become even more important as time passes when you have a chronic illness. I’ve mentioned it more than once already. On a personal level I didn’t do any of that work before my diagnosis, so I am muddling through things now, trying to fix problems that are long-standing so that today is easier… or mistakes made yesterday are more forgivable.


All that can be expected of you is a genuine good-faith effort to try to do right. If you have done that, even if it feels you haven’t succeeded or measured up… you have done enough. Be kind to yourself. Cheers.
